Foreshadowings of the Rapture No. 1

Introduction
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils" (1 Timothy 4:1). Beloved, it is with this passage that I will begin this teaching on the Foreshadowings of the Rapture. Yes, in these last days we are witnessing a rapid rise of lies — a proliferation of demonic doctrines to which even the authentic Church of Jesus Christ has become attached. Yes, in these end times, the Church of Jesus Christ is clinging to all manner of doctrines that have no biblical basis or foundation whatsoever; doctrines that, if you were to search the entire Bible, you would find nowhere — not in a single biblical text. The greatest achievement of Satan in these last days is that he has succeeded, through the agency of his sons — all these false pastors — in injecting a whole host of heresies and false doctrines concerning the return of Jesus Christ and the Rapture of the Church. These include in particular those demonic teachings that champion the idea of two phases of the Rapture of the Church: a first rapture called the secret rapture before the Great Tribulation, and a second rapture for, supposedly, those who resist the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation.
All of these doctrines are satanic and have no biblical foundation, as we will see in this teaching. Satan — the enemy of your souls — seeks only to drag you to Hell with his heresies. All of these false teachings are assembled and fabricated from scratch in the laboratories of the kingdom of darkness, then transmitted and taught in Bible centers and schools which are in reality satanic establishments from which come all the sons of perdition wrongly called servants of Jesus Christ. It is therefore extremely alarming and astonishing to observe to what extent the Church of Jesus Christ has become attached to these doctrines of devils, believing them to be part of the Word of God.
This confusion within the Church of Jesus Christ can only be explained by the fact that the Church no longer makes the knowledge of the Word of God her precious treasure; with ignorance running rampant, the sons of perdition can only take advantage of this to inject their deadly venom.
In our teaching entitled "The Rapture and the Great Tribulation" — and in every other teaching dealing with the Great Tribulation — we have already demonstrated with biblical evidence that there will never be a Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ before the Great Tribulation; the one and only Rapture that will take place will occur after the Great Tribulation. At the level of this teaching, the objective is to demonstrate — by drawing upon the models of rapture provided to us by the Bible — that there are NOT and will NEVER be two phases of the Rapture of the Church, as these false prophets teach. The Lord Jesus Christ, coming upon the clouds on the Day of His coming, will rapture His saints — His Church — only once; consequently, all those who miss this one and only Rapture will find their final destination in the lake of fire burning with brimstone — that is, Hell.
The Foreshadowings of the Rapture of the Church
Before embarking upon the study of the models of rapture that the Bible sets before us, let us first examine the passage of Revelation 14:14–20.
Verses 14–16
14And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
These verses — and verse 14 in particular — speak to us of a man seated upon a cloud, having upon his head a crown (the symbol of royalty) and holding in his hand a sharp sickle. Who can this man be, of whom the Bible speaks here? Let us examine several passages.
Daniel 7:13–14
13I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Matthew 26:64
Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Revelation 1:7
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Through these passages of Daniel 7:13–14, Matthew 26:64, and Revelation 1:7, we understand that this Man seated upon the cloud is none other than Jesus Christ, and that what verse 14 of Revelation 14 describes is none other than the coming or return of Jesus Christ. The question we may now ask is: what does the sickle He holds in His hand represent, and what purpose does it serve? We know that a sickle is always used to reap or to harvest a field (Deuteronomy 23:25). In verses 15 and 16 of Revelation 14 we observe that the Bible speaks of reaping the earth — that is, how the Man seated upon the clouds, Jesus Christ, reaps the earth with the sickle in His hand. The question arises: can one speak of "reaping" without having first sown something? If the text speaks of reaping the earth (verse 16), it is because something was sown there. What, then, was sown upon the earth that it should be reaped — and what concretely can this harvest represent? The passage of Matthew 13 helps us understand all of this more fully.
Matthew 13:24–30, 36–43
24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. 36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
From this passage, we understand that two seeds have been sown in the world — upon the earth: the wheat and the tares. The wheat being the Sons of God and the tares the sons of Satan; and in relation to Revelation 14, the hour of reaping corresponds to none other than the end of the world. To reap the earth therefore means to separate the wheat from the tares — to separate the righteous man from the iniquitous man, the sinner from the saint. In short, this separation is or will only be possible through the Rapture of the saints on the Day of the Lord: by the Rapture, the righteous will ascend to Christ in the air and the sinners will be left upon the earth. Verses 14, 15, and 16 of Revelation 14 therefore speak of nothing other than the Rapture of the saints — the Church. Let us now examine the last four verses of this passage in Revelation 14.
Verses 17–20
17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
At this point it must be recalled that the wheat has already been separated from the tares, and that only the tares remain upon the earth. Let us complement these verses with the passage of Joel 3:13.
Joel 3:13
Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
By adding this passage from Joel 3, we realize that these verses speak of what must take place after the Rapture of the Church — namely, the harvest of the wicked (the grapes). Examining verse 19 of Revelation 14 closely, we understand that this refers to the wrath of God that will be experienced by all those who miss the Rapture of the Church — the wicked, symbolized here by the grapes. These passages clearly confirm the text of 1 Thessalonians 1:10, which says that Jesus Christ delivers us from the coming wrath of God. Jesus Christ will therefore rapture His Church in order to spare her from the wrath of God.
From this foundation we have just laid, we understand that after the Rapture of the Church, what must follow is the wrath of God.
The questions we must now ask ourselves are these: will there be another rapture — for the so-called redeemed — after the wrath of God? Will Jesus Christ rapture or save yet more men after the fierce wrath of God? To these questions, the Bible proposes to answer us promptly.
1 — The Case of Noah
Luke 17:26–27
26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Beloved, you must at all costs flee the seduction into which the agents of the devil are plunging many of the Lord's sheep; you must at all costs combat ignorance. If Satan and his agents succeed today in drawing the maximum number of people into his vessel, it is because of ignorance; if so many people find themselves today on the road to Hell, it is because of ignorance. Beloved, you must read the Word of God with care — and ensure that not a single detail escapes you.
Even here, simply by reading this passage from Luke 17, one can already discern that after the one and only Rapture that will take place, there can be no other rapture to redeem anyone after the wrath of God. The Bible states clearly that what came to pass in the time of Noah will likewise come to pass in the days of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. What, then, happened in the time of Noah? Verse 27 already answers us in part. It says this: in the time of Noah, men were eating, drinking, marrying, until the day Noah entered the ark — then the flood came and destroyed them all, that is, those who had not entered the ark.
Know from this point onward that Noah is a type of the Church, the Ark is a type of salvation or of the Rapture, and the Flood is a type of the wrath of God. The question I put to you is this: when Noah entered the ark — when he was delivered from the Flood — which of those men did you see being redeemed afterward by God? The Bible tells us clearly that NO ONE was saved or redeemed after the wrath of God in the time of Noah, as people today would like to believe. The Bible says plainly that the wrath of God — the Flood — destroyed them all. There was therefore no survivor recorded after the Flood. Brothers and sisters, understand right now that another rapture after the wrath of God for the so-called redeemed that these servants of the devil guarantee you will under no circumstances take place. Let us examine the case of Noah closely.
Genesis 7:4–7, 12–16, 23
4For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. 5And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. 6And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. 7And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. 12And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 13In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; 14They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. 15And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 16And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. 23And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
Beloved, the Bible is clear in everything it teaches; the Word of the Lord is perfectly clear for all those who are called unto salvation. Under normal circumstances, I would not even need to comment on all of this — it is so clear and transparent to any person who takes the salvation of their soul seriously.
As we observed at the outset, the Lord Jesus Christ will rapture His Church in order to spare and deliver her from the wrath of God; for according to the Scriptures (2 Peter 3:5–7; Isaiah 13:9–12), there is a day that God has reserved to punish this world because of its malice and wickedness. And in the time of Noah, this was exactly the case. God then commanded Noah — the one righteous man of his time — to build the ark in order to spare him from His wrath against the inhabitants of the earth at that time.
It is worth noting carefully in verse 16 that when God had secured Noah in the ark, God Himself shut the door. What does this mean? It means that all those who were outside the ark after Noah's salvation could no longer open it in an attempt to enter and save their lives during or after the Flood — the wrath of God. God Himself had shut the door of the ark. This makes it understood that apart from those who were in the ark, God did not save anyone at all when His wrath was poured out. And verse 23 confirms this for us. It is said that Noah the righteous and all that was with him in the ark alone remained. After the wrath of God — which is preceded by the salvation of the righteous — not one redeemed person is recorded; not a single man is saved. Only those who were saved before the wrath of God continue on with life; the rest of mankind is destroyed by the wrath of God.
You who believe in these follies taught to you by these ministers of the devil — show me a single text that contradicts all of this.
Perhaps in your seduction, or in your unbelief, you would say to me that God in His great love surely saved some men after the Flood; that He is too loving to send all those people to Hell. Let us see whether that was the case.
Genesis 8:14–18
14And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. 15And God spake unto Noah, saying, 16Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. 17Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. 18And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
You can see very clearly that the only people who continued life after the Flood are those whom God spared before His wrath; all those who did not enter the ark were exterminated by the wrath of God. And the Bible tells us that what came to pass in the time of Noah will likewise come to pass in the days of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ.
Retain therefore this: all those who miss the one and only Rapture of the Church that is coming will perish — that is, they will find themselves in Hell. It is as simple as that. Do you now realize the danger of this demonic teaching which tells you that if you miss the first round of the Rapture, you will be caught up in the second round? Do you realize the danger? It is therefore time for you to come out of your illusion of a second round of rapture — for there will be none. It is Hell that will be waiting for you with open arms.
Beloved, retain this once and for all: the Lord Jesus Christ will rapture His Church only once. Consequently, there will be no second redemption — it is Hell that awaits those who miss the Rapture. So you who continue to play with your salvation — allowing yourselves to be seduced by these false prophets — you risk regretting it for all eternity if you do not take hold of yourself now.
May the Lord bless you!
