The Antichrist and the False Prophet No. 2
Described as the beast rising from the earth, the False Prophet will be the leader of the world religion. By his authority, he will cause every man to worship the Antichrist...

Prophecies Concerning the Antichrist (Continued)

The Purposes of the Antichrist (Continued)

In the previous part of this teaching, we saw that the principal objective of the Antichrist will be to invade the nation of Israel — and this for two reasons: to amass great riches, and to attempt to prevent the reign of Jesus Christ; for the Antichrist knows deep within himself that it is in Jerusalem (Psalm 2:2–9) that Jesus Christ will set His feet to begin His thousand-year reign — hence the Battle of Armageddon.

In those days, he will be accompanied not only by his own army but also by the armies of several nations — namely Iran, Libya, Ethiopia, and others. It will be at this precise moment that the Antichrist will seat himself in the third Temple of Jerusalem and proclaim himself god, blaspheming the name of the true God — hence the abomination of desolation.

Daniel 11:31
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

2 Thessalonians 2:1–4
1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

This period of the abomination of desolation will correspond to the period of the Great Tribulation, during which the mark of the beast will be established; this will last 3.5 years — that is, 42 months. Do you now understand the text of Revelation 11:1–2, where God forbade the Apostle John to measure the outer court of the Temple? God knew in advance that in these last days His sanctuary would be profaned by the nations — the nations that will invade Israel. From that moment onward, the Antichrist will kill many people, and in particular Christians, and will wreak great devastation.

Revelation 13:1, 7
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Daniel 7:21–22
21I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Daniel 8:24–25
24And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. 25And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Matthew 24:21–22
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

At the very same time that the Church is being persecuted by the Antichrist, the Jewish nation will also be delivered into the hands of the beast: he will kill many of them, and carry others away captive.

Luke 21:20–24
20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Still in those same times, the Antichrist will not stop there; he will also rise up against the heavenly host — the angels of God — and will cast some of them to the ground and trample them.

Daniel 8:9–10
9And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. 10And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

Revelation 13:6
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Note therefore, my beloved, that this will be a period of great rebellion against the Lord and His host. During this same period, the Antichrist will continue to prosper — even to the point of giving lands as a reward to those who acknowledge him as god and overwhelming others with honors.

Daniel 11:39
Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

A one-child policy — for the whole world — will be adopted by him, along with other abominable laws such as the abortion law that certain countries have already passed. The Antichrist will thus seek to change times and law.

Daniel 7:25
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

At the end of all his crimes, he will establish his headquarters near the Mount of Olives — from which the Lord Jesus Christ will descend.

Daniel 11:45
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Zechariah 14:2–4
2
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east...

The End of the Antichrist

On the day the Antichrist invades Israel, the wrath of God will be kindled, as Ezekiel 38:18 declares: "And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face." After the 3.5 years of the Great Tribulation, the Lord will first rapture His Church.

Matthew 24:29–31
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

After this, the Lord will proceed with His judgments; the troops of the Antichrist will be struck down with plague, fire, and brimstone — and these same troops will also turn their swords upon one another.

Ezekiel 38:19–22
19For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. 22And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

It is there that the Battle of Armageddon will in fact begin. For this battle, the Antichrist will gather all the kings of the earth to fight against the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ. On that day, all of them will ultimately perish; God will give as food to the wild beasts and the birds the flesh and blood of all those who fight against Him. As for the Antichrist, he will be seized and cast alive into the lake of fire and brimstone — and such will be his end. Jesus Christ, for His part, will enter into His thousand-year reign with His saints.

Ezekiel 39:17–21
17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. 18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. 21And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

Revelation 19:17–21
17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The False Prophet

After the Antichrist, he will be the second most influential man on the planet. His influence will truly begin when the Antichrist proclaims himself god and commits the abomination of desolation. As we have seen above, in the Holy Roman Empire the religious ruler always came from the Vatican. What does this mean? It means that the Pope — the Bishop of Rome — who will be alive at the time of the Antichrist will be the False Prophet. In the Bible, the False Prophet is described as the beast with two horns rising from the earth, in contrast to the Antichrist, who is symbolized by a beast with ten horns and seven heads rising from the sea.

Revelation 13:11
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

The False Prophet will be at the head of the world religion — the single world religion whose first fruits we already see today through ecumenism: the gathering of the various religious confessions (Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and others). As the Bible describes him in Revelation 13:11, he will have the outward appearance of a true servant of God, but inwardly it will be the nature of the devil that will hold sway. He will lead many people on the road to perdition through the lying wonders and miracles he will perform. The Bible bears witness of him that he will even call down fire from heaven in the sight of men.

Revelation 13:11–14
11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Understand, my beloved, that the False Prophet will be a great manipulator — he will manipulate the minds of men. Through his authority, the False Prophet will cause every man to worship the first beast — the Antichrist — or his image; the False Prophet will cause every man, small and great, slave and free, to receive the mark of the beast — the electronic microchip that will serve to control every movement of man.

Revelation 13:16
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

The False Prophet will cause all those who do not worship the Antichrist to be put to death — hence the Great Tribulation for the Church of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13:15
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The False Prophet will ensure that all those who do not have the mark of the beast are unable to buy, sell, go to work, or attend school; in short, he will exclude them entirely from participation in the life of society.

Revelation 13:16–17
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

For the Battle of Armageddon, he will also seduce the kings — the heads of state — of the earth to fight against Jesus Christ and His army. The Bible tells us in advance that they will all be defeated.

Revelation 16:13–14
13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Revelation 17:14
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

As for the end of the False Prophet, he will also be cast alive into the lake — the burning lake of fire and brimstone — together with his confederate, the Antichrist.

Revelation 19:20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Exhortation

Beloved, at the moment I am speaking to you through this teaching, I can assure you with complete certainty that these two men are already upon the earth — and that only a few details remain before they appear publicly before the eyes of the whole world. As you have observed throughout this teaching, the times ahead will be difficult; for us, the Church of Jesus Christ, the tribulation will be great and fierce. Therefore, if we do not prepare ourselves from this moment onward, we risk falling under the charm and seduction of the Antichrist and the False Prophet — and we will miss the mark entirely. The Lord, for His part, is unequivocal concerning every man who worships the Antichrist or his image, or who bears his mark: he will undergo the great wrath of God and will spend his eternity in the midst of flames of fire alongside Satan and his demons. It is therefore time to take our spiritual life seriously and to prepare ourselves for the events that are coming.

Revelation 14:9–12
9
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

May the Lord bless you!
