The Gospel of Jesus Christ No. 2
In the first part of this teaching, we saw that the true Gospel of Jesus Christ is founded upon the cross — that is, upon the Death of Christ, His Burial, and His Resurrection. To conform oneself to the cross therefore means passing through Repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This Gospel of the cross is the one and only Gospel that can give us access to the Kingdom of Heaven; and therefore, any gospel other than this one can never save us or bring us to eternal salvation in Jesus Christ.
As we saw in the previous part of this teaching, the fact that these Luciferians preach nothing but the things of the world — the present age — instead of the cross, shows to what extent they themselves belong to the world and care only for earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven.
Philippians 3:20
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
The ages to come do not concern them, because they have no place there — except in the lake of fire. Hence, through their earthly preachings, they have succeeded in captivating the attention of God's children upon transient things, making them believe that the world is eternal. This is what these antichrists are.
Contrary to the Gospel of the cross, their earthly gospel has no perspective whatsoever of the ages to come. Let us examine the passage of John 3:5.
John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
The question I put to you is this: did Jesus Christ say that in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven one must have bags of money, luxury cars, or all manner of financial and material prosperity? Or that one must be born again ?
Beloved, flee all these seducers who preach to you day after day these barren gospels founded on vanity, on earthly treasures, on temporal success, on every kind of earthly happiness. Who told you that possessing the treasures of this world is a sign that the Lord Jesus Christ is with you? Who told you that? From this day onward, brothers and sisters, stop running after these money gospels that lead you straight to perdition. Do you not know that "they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition"? (1 Timothy 6:9). Beloved, I urge you again: flee the seduction of these demon pastors. If you are not born again — if you do not pass through the cross — you will never see the Kingdom of Heaven.
It is time to return to the Lord; through your attachment to these barren gospels, you have drifted from your Saviour Jesus Christ. It is time to return to Him. He says: Return to me and I will return to you. How have you come to make this earthly life your priority instead of eternal Life? Does not the Word of God declare: "For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain all these goods (which these sorcerer-pastors present to you) and lose his own soul?" Return — return to the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ. Why cling to these earthly things when the Lord has more wonderful things in store for us? Flee — flee all these seducers, these demons who speak to you of nothing but earthly happiness. Pass through the cross — repent, repent.
1 Timothy 6:7–8
7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Instead of guaranteeing you eternal life, they guarantee you a present life that scarcely lasts.
"Comfort zone," "succeeding in a hostile environment," "deliverance from the financial curse," "Jesus heals," "miracle night," "destroying the family pot," "you will not die poor" — such are the topics propagated in churches and at crusades and seminars. The more cunning among them manage to craft themes such as "Sanctification and Prosperity." What seduction! You will never hear them holding crusades of Repentance — they know that if they did, you would be saved, and in return they would have no income. If it is on this kind of gospel that you are founding your faith, know that you are like a house built on sand — and that when even a minor tribulation comes, you will not know how to face it.
Who removed from you the thought of Eternal Life by focusing your faith on the present? Who, brothers and sisters? Who? Does God not know that you have need of food and clothing? Why do you run after these Luciferians who preach nothing but money? Return to God — take up your cross and follow the Lord.
Before concluding this teaching, let us return one final time to the text of Acts 2:37–38.
Acts 2:37–38
37Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
If, therefore, repentance and the two baptisms are not preached, there is also no real and sincere conversion; and where there is no conversion, there is no salvation. Be not surprised, then, if today there are more unconverted than converted people in the so-called assemblies of God. It is simply through the absence of this Gospel founded upon the Cross — for the cross changes and transforms the interior of a person. On no account can these prosperity gospels ever lead hearts to conversion: truly, on no account. If there are many scandals in so-called Christian circles, it is because the cross is not being preached. God willing, we will return to this point in the teaching on Conversion.
I also prefer to state this plainly: Jesus Christ did not come to earth to improve the lives of men or the living conditions of anyone; He came so that every man might have life in Him.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Note therefore that the primary objective was Eternal Life — and not abundance. There, beloved, is what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is.
Conclusion
To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ is to preach His death, His burial, and His resurrection — that is, repentance, water baptism, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is only through this Gospel that one can be born again and consequently see the Kingdom of God. Any gospel other than that of the cross is a gospel that leads to perdition. According as it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:11, this Gospel of Christ must be proclaimed every day, until the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:11
Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
Acts 8:12, 14–17
12But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 14Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:1–6
1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
May the Lord bless you!
