Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger recently spoke about relations between the United States on the one hand and China on the other. Kissinger warned U.S. leaders either to accept a new international system (a new world order, in which the United States would relinquish its hegemony), or to continue to fuel tensions that would lead the current world situation to resemble that of the eve of the First World War.

“If you imagine the world engaging in endless competition based on the domination of whoever is superior at the present moment, then a breakdown of order is inevitable. And the consequences of that breakdown would be catastrophic,” said Henry Kissinger.

He went on to say: “If we do not reach an agreement with China on this point, we will find ourselves in a situation similar to that which preceded the First World War—namely, permanent conflicts that are resolved in the immediate term, but one of which eventually escapes all control.”
The rise in power of nations such as China or Russia strongly calls American hegemony into question. China’s military investments, for example, its nuclear weapons and its technological advances, have set it on the path to superpower status. This provokes real tensions on the side of the United States.
It is in this context that the former U.S. Secretary of State warned the United States to accept the new world system (the new world order) or to face a geopolitical situation similar to that of the pre–First World War era.

What is currently taking place at various points around the globe clearly illustrates this climate that foreshadows a new global conflict—namely, the Third World War. We can clearly see how conflicts are resuming between the United States and Russia or China along the major front lines (Ukraine, the Taiwan Strait, the Middle East), which could plunge the world into a new global conflict, into a Third World War.
And as Kissinger rightly pointed out, one of these flashpoints can end up escaping all control, thus leading to the globalization of the conflict.
What Does the Bible Say About the Third World War?
The Word of God reveals that the establishment of the end-time new world order will not take place without a global military conflict having occurred beforehand—a military conflict that will serve to destroy the dominance of the current great powers. The Bible prophesied that this final global military conflict will be entirely nuclear; that it will begin in the Middle East; that it will result in the death of more than two billion people, that is, a third of the world’s population; and that it is at the end of this global military conflict that the Beast, or the Antichrist, will appear as the leader of the new world order. This Third World War is therefore certain.
