Message to our Friends the Jehovah's Witnesses No. 1
The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures — published by the Jehovah's Witnesses — clearly explains and demonstrates that Jesus Christ is the one and only God. Discover this for yourself.

Introduction

Dear friends — Jehovah's Witnesses — may grace and peace be given to you from the One who lives eternally: our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We continually give thanks to God our Father for having given us His Word as the only Truth in this present world and the only true Light that illuminates us in this world covered in darkness. His Word is truly this Truth that sets us free, according as it is written: "you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). Dear friends, we write to you precisely about this Truth that can set us free from the bonds of Satan, the enemy, and all his agents. Yes, dear friends, we write about one Truth alone: that Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the one and only true God. We write to make known to you that from Genesis to Revelation, the Bible speaks to us of only one single, unique God: Jesus Christ.

Dear friends, you are taught that Jesus Christ is not God, and that therefore He can be neither worshipped nor prayed to. However, upon carefully examining the Word of God — the Bible, and most particularly the New World Translation that you use — you will realize that Jesus Christ is Jehovah, therefore God, and that it is He alone whom you should worship and pray to. Here, therefore, are sixteen (16) Truths that explain and demonstrate that Jesus Christ is Jehovah, the only true God.

We remind you, dear friends, that throughout this message we will use only the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures — the Bible translated and published by the Jehovah's Witnesses organization — which demonstrates at every point that Jesus Christ is Jehovah.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the God of Gods, the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings

Let us begin by examining the text of Deuteronomy 10:17.

Deuteronomy 10:17
For Jehovah your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the God great, mighty, and awe-inspiring, who treats none with partiality and does not accept a bribe.

What does this passage teach us? It teaches us that Jehovah alone is the God of gods and the Lord of lords; in a word, outside of Jehovah there are no other gods or lords, and no god can surpass or equal Him. He alone is the Lord of lords. Let us now turn to the book of Revelation.

Revelation 17:12–14
12The ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast. 13These have one thought, so they give their power and authority to the wild beast. 14These will battle with the Lamb, but because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them. Also, those called and chosen and faithful with him will do so.

The question we must ask is: who is the Lamb? The answer is, of course, Jesus Christ (John 1:35–36). In Deuteronomy 10:17, we discovered that only Jehovah is the Lord of lords and the God of gods. How then is there yet another Lord of lords, under the name of the Lamb — Jesus Christ? Is the Word of God contradictory? Of course not! The One who declared Himself Lord of lords and King of kings (Jehovah) in the old covenant is the same One who declares Himself Lord of lords (the Lamb) in the new covenant. Jesus Christ is therefore Jehovah — the God of Moses. Let us add yet another passage that confirms this.

Revelation 19:11–16
11I saw heaven opened, and look! a white horse. And the one seated on it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness. 12His eyes are a fiery flame, and on his head are many diadems. He has a name written that no one knows but he himself. 13He is clothed with an outer garment stained with blood, and he is called by the name The Word of God. 14Also, the armies in heaven were following him on white horses, and they were clothed in white, clean, fine linen. 15And out of his mouth protrudes a sharp, long sword with which to strike the nations, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. He treads also the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16On his outer garment, yes, on his thigh, he has a name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.

What does this passage describe? It describes the coming from heaven of the One called the Word of God (verse 13); and the Bible informs us at this point that He does not come alone — the armies of heaven, that is, the angels, come with Him. What is remarkable about this Person is that He has an inscription on His thigh — a name: King of kings and Lord of lords. Now, according to the Bible, there is only one who comes; there is only one who comes with the angels from heaven. And who can He be? Let us discover this right away.

2 Thessalonians 1:7
But you who suffer tribulation will be given relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels.

Since the One who comes from heaven with His angels is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ — and since according to Revelation 19, He bears the name of Lord of lords and King of kings — you can readily understand, in light of Deuteronomy 10:17, that Jesus Christ is none other than Jehovah.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the Lord of lords, the God of gods, and the King of kings.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the God Who Searches the Heart and Thoughts

Jeremiah 17:10
I, Jehovah, am searching the heart, examining the innermost thoughts, to give to each one according to his ways, according to the fruitage of his works.

Through His New World Translation, Jehovah informs us that He alone searches hearts and examines thoughts in order to give to each according to his ways. Let us now turn to the book of Revelation.

Revelation 2:18–23
18To the angel of the congregation in Thyatira write: These are the things that the Son of God says, the one who has eyes like a fiery flame and whose feet are like fine copper: 19I know your deeds, and your love and faith and ministry and endurance, and that your deeds of late are more than those you did at first. 20Nevertheless, I hold this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and misleads my slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols. 21And I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality. 22Look! I am about to throw her into a sickbed, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23And I will kill her children with deadly plague, so that all the congregations will know that I am the one who searches the innermost thoughts and hearts, and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

The questions here are: who is the Son of God addressing the congregation in Thyatira, and what is His final word to that congregation? It is of course Jesus Christ — the Son of God — who addresses the congregation of Thyatira (Mark 3:7–11). And what does He say in conclusion of His message to the congregation at Thyatira? He says that all the congregations will know that He is the one who searches the innermost thoughts and hearts, and that He will give to each according to his deeds. How then is it that, like Jehovah, Jesus Christ — the Son of God — also searches the hearts and innermost thoughts in order to give to each according to his deeds? How can Jesus Christ, the Son of God, search hearts and secret thoughts if He is not Jehovah Himself? Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the God who searches hearts and secret thoughts.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the God who searches hearts and secret thoughts.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the First and the Last

Isaiah 44:6
This is what Jehovah says, the King of Israel and his Repurchaser, Jehovah of armies: 'I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me.'

Isaiah 48:12
Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I have called. I am the same One. I am the first; I am also the last.

Through these two passages from the book of Isaiah, Jehovah tells us of Himself that He is the First and the Last, and that outside of Him there is no God. Is there another who is the first and the last like Jehovah, the great God? The answer is, of course, no — only Jehovah is the first and the last. Let us examine the following passage.

Revelation 1:9–18
9I John, your brother and a sharer with you in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in association with Jesus, was on the island called Patmos for speaking about God and bearing witness concerning Jesus. 10By inspiration I came to be in the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a strong voice like that of a trumpet, 11saying: 'What you see, write in a scroll and send it to the seven congregations: in Ephesus, in Smyrna, in Pergamum, in Thyatira, in Sardis, in Philadelphia and in Laodicea.' 12I turned to see who was speaking with me, and when I turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, 13and in the midst of the lampstands someone like a son of man, clothed in a garment that reached down to the feet and wearing a golden sash around his chest. 14Moreover, his head and his hair were white as white wool, as snow, and his eyes were like a fiery flame; 15and his feet were like fine copper when glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters. 16And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth a sharp, long, two-edged sword was protruding, and his countenance was like the sun when it shines at its brightest. 17When I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet. And he laid his right hand on me and said: 'Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last,' 18'and the living one, and I became dead, but look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of the Grave.'

Who is John speaking of here? He speaks of someone resembling a son of man who was dead, but who is today living and forever. What is remarkable about this "one who resembled a son of man" is that He says He is the First and the Last — just as Jehovah (verse 17). Now we all know that this one who resembles a Son of man is none other than Jesus Christ (Matthew 17:9). If therefore Jesus Christ is not Jehovah — the great God — how can He repeatedly claim to be Jehovah? Does the Bible contradict itself? If Jesus Christ declares, as Jehovah does, that He is the First and the Last, it is because it is the same Person; for Jehovah is unique, and none can compare with Him. Jesus Christ is therefore Jehovah, the great God. Let us add one final passage.

Revelation 22:12–13
12Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to repay each one according to his work. 13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Once again, what does the book of Revelation speak of here? It speaks of the One who is coming quickly (verse 12) — and that this One is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. Now according to the same book of Revelation, there is only one who is coming quickly — yes, only one. Who can He be? Let us discover it together.

Revelation 22:20
The one who bears witness of these things says, 'Yes, I am coming quickly.' 'Amen! Come, Lord Jesus.'

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the First and the Last.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the God Who Does Not Change

Isaiah 48:12
Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I have called. I am the same One. I am the first; I am also the last.

Isaiah 43:11–13
11I — I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior. 12I am the one who declared and saved and made known when there was no foreign god among you. So you are my witnesses, declares Jehovah, and I am God. 13Also, I am always the same One; And no one can snatch anything out of my hand. When I act, who can prevent it?

Malachi 3:6
For I am Jehovah; I do not change. And you are sons of Jacob; you have not yet come to your finish.

Through these passages we understand that Jehovah does not change — that He is the same forever.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is therefore Jehovah — the God who does not change.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the Only Rock

Psalm 18:31
For who is God besides Jehovah? And who is a rock except our God?

This passage tells us that only Jehovah is the Rock; there is no other rock apart from Jehovah. Let us now read 1 Corinthians 10:4.

1 Corinthians 10:4
and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they used to drink from the spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock meant the Christ.

In Psalm 18:31, we saw that apart from Jehovah there is no rock. How then is there another Rock — Jesus Christ? If Jehovah is a rock and Christ is also one, this simply means it is the same Person. Jesus Christ is therefore Jehovah — the only Rock.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the only Rock.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the Fine Shepherd

Ezekiel 34:15
I myself will feed my sheep, and I myself will make them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

Ezekiel 34:31
As for you, my sheep, the sheep that I care for, you are but men, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

Isaiah 40:10–11
10Look! The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will come with power, And his arm will rule for him. Look! His reward is with him, And the wage he pays is before him. 11Like a shepherd he will care for his flock. With his arm he will gather together the lambs, and in his bosom he will carry them. He will gently lead those nursing their young.

These three passages present Jehovah as the great Shepherd who tends His flock with care. Let us now turn to John 10:7–11.

John 10:7–11
7So Jesus said again: 'Most truly I say to you, I am the door for the sheep.' 8'All those who have come in place of me are thieves and plunderers; but the sheep have not listened to them.' 9'I am the door; whoever enters through me will be saved, and that one will go in and out and find pasturage.' 10'The thief does not come unless it is to steal and slay and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance.' 11'I am the fine shepherd; the fine shepherd surrenders his life in behalf of the sheep.'

Through this passage we discover that Jesus Christ is the fine Shepherd. If therefore Jesus Christ is the fine Shepherd, what then is Jehovah? Will Jesus Christ be greater than Jehovah, the great Shepherd? Of course not! If Jesus Christ is the fine shepherd and Jehovah is too, this means they are the same Person. Jesus Christ is therefore Jehovah — the one God and the fine shepherd.

Through this same passage, we also discover that the fine Shepherd surrenders his life for his sheep. Ezekiel 34:31 makes clear that we — simple humans — are the sheep, and that Jehovah is our shepherd. Since the fine shepherd is recognized by the fact that he surrenders his life for his sheep (John 10:11), the question we must ask is: has Jehovah already surrendered His life for us, His sheep? If so — how? Jesus Christ is Jehovah, the great God.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the fine Shepherd.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the True Light

Psalm 27:1
Jehovah is my light and my salvation. Whom should I fear? Jehovah is the stronghold of my life. Whom should I dread?

Isaiah 60:19
For you the sun will no longer be a light by day, Nor will the shining of the moon give you light, For Jehovah will become to you an eternal light, And your God will be your beauty.

These passages clearly show that Jehovah alone is the true light. Let us now turn to John 1:6–9.

John 1:6–9
6There came a man who was sent as a representative of God; his name was John. 7This man came as a witness, in order to bear witness about the light, so that people of all sorts might believe through him. 8He was not that light, but he was meant to bear witness about that light. 9The true light that gives light to every sort of man was about to come into the world.

John 8:12
Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying: 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will by no means walk in darkness, but will possess the light of life.'

These two passages from John demonstrate irrefutably that Jesus Christ is the true Light — the light that illuminates the entire world. If therefore Jesus Christ is the true light and the light of the world, what then of Jehovah? Are there two true lights in this world? The Word of God is irrevocable. Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the light of the world.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the true Light.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — Before Whom Every Knee Will Bend

Isaiah 45:22–23
22Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, For I am God, and there is no one else. 23By myself I have sworn; the word has gone out of my mouth in righteousness, And it will not return: To me every knee will bend, Every tongue will swear loyalty.

Through this passage we discover that every knee will bow before Jehovah, the one God. Let us now turn to Philippians.

Philippians 2:10–11
10so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend — of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground — 11and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the one and only God.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the God Who Justifies Through Faith

Genesis 15:1–6
1After this the word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying: 'Do not fear, Abram. I am a shield fot you. Your reward will be very great.' 2Abram replied: 'Sovereign Lord Jehovah, what will you give me, seeing that I continue childless and the one who will inherit my house is a man of Damascus, Eliezer?' 3Abram added: 'You have given me no offspring, and a member of my household is succeeding me as heir.' 4But look! Jehovah's word in reply to him was, 'This man will not succeed you as heir, but your own son will succeed you as heir.' 5He now brought him outside and said: 'Look up, please, to the heavens and count the stars, if you are able to do so.' Then he said to him: 'So your offspring will become.' 6And he put faith in Jehovah, and He counted it to him as righteousness.

Romans 4:2–3
2For instance, if Abraham was declared righteous as a result of works, he would have reason to boast, but not with God. 3For what does the scripture say? 'Abraham put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted to him as righteousness.'

By these passages, we realize and understand that Jehovah justifies — declares righteous — every man who puts faith in Him. Let us now read Galatians 2:16.

Galatians 2:16
recognize that a man is declared righteous, not by works of law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. So we have put our faith in Christ Jesus, so that we may be declared righteous by faith in Christ and not by works of law, for no one will be declared righteous by works of law.

If it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that every man is justified — and that through faith Abraham was justified by Jehovah — then this amounts to saying that Jesus Christ is Jehovah: the One who justified men in the past by means of faith is the same One who justifies men today by the same means of faith. Jesus Christ is therefore Jehovah — the God who justifies through faith in Him.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the God who justifies through faith in Him.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the God Who Comes With Rewards

Isaiah 40:10–11
10Look! The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will come with power, And his arm will rule for him. Look! His reward is with him, And the wage he pays is before him. 11Like a shepherd he will care for his flock. With his arm he will gather together the lambs,And in his bosom he will carry them. He will gently lead those nursing their young.

We are told here that the great God Jehovah is coming — not with empty hands, but with rewards and recompense. Let us read yet another passage.

Revelation 22:12
Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to repay each one according to his work.

As we established earlier in this message, there is only one who is coming quickly — and that One is Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:20
The one who bears witness of these things says, 'Yes, I am coming quickly.' 'Amen! Come, Lord Jesus.'

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the one and only God.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the King of Israel

Isaiah 43:15
I am Jehovah your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

Isaiah 44:6
This is what Jehovah says, The King of Israel and his Repurchaser, Jehovah of armies: ‘I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me.

Through these two passages from Isaiah, we discover that Jehovah is the King of Israel. Let us now turn to Zechariah 9:9.

Zechariah 9:9
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion. Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem. Look! Your king is coming to you. He is righteous, bringing salvation, Humble and riding on a donkey, On a colt, the foal of a female donkey.

This passage from Zechariah teaches us that the King of Israel — Jehovah — is coming. We are told that He comes mounted on a donkey. Had this King of Israel already come? Let us discover this in Matthew 21:1–8.

Matthew 21:1–8
1When they got close to Jerusalem and arrived at Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2saying to them: “Go into the village that is within sight, and you will at once find a donkey tied and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3If someone says anything to you, you must say, ‘The Lord needs them.’ At that he will immediately send them.” 4This actually took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet, who said: 5“Tell the daughter of Zion: ‘Look! Your king is coming to you, mild-tempered and mounted on a donkey, yes, on a colt, the offspring of a beast of burden.’” 6So the disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them. 7They brought the donkey and its colt, and they put their outer garments on them, and he sat on them. 8Most of the crowd spread their outer garments on the road, while others were cutting down branches from the trees and spreading them on the road.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the King of Israel.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the God Who Came to Save His People

Isaiah 35:4–6
4Say to those who are anxious at heart: “Be strong. Do not be afraid. Look! Your own God will come with vengeance, God will come with retribution. He will come and save you.” 5At that time the eyes of the blind will be opened, And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. 6At that time the lame will leap like the deer, And the tongue of the speechless will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness,And streams in the desert plain.

The fulfillment of all of this is found in Matthew 11:2–5.

Matthew 11:2–5
2But John, having heard in jail about the works of the Christ, sent his disciples 3to ask him: “Are you the Coming One, or are we to expect a different one?4In reply Jesus said to them: “Go and report to John what you are hearing and seeing: 5The blind are now seeing and the lame are walking, the lepers are being cleansed and the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised up and the poor are being told the good news.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is Jehovah.

John the Baptizer Prepared the Way of Jehovah — That Is, of Jesus Christ

Isaiah 40:3
A voice of one calling out in the wilderness: 'Clear up the way of Jehovah! Make a straight highway through the desert for our God.'

Luke 1:76–77
76But as for you, young child, you will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go ahead of Jehovah to prepare his ways77to give knowledge of salvation to his people by forgiveness of their sins,

Matthew 3:1–3
1In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2saying: “Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” 3This, in fact, is the one spoken of through Isaiah the prophet in these words: “A voice of one calling out in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of Jehovah! Make his roads straight.’”

For whom did John the Baptizer prepare the way? For Jehovah. And when was Jehovah to appear or come? After John the Baptizer had prepared His way. Who then was it that we saw appear or come after John the Baptizer? John 1:29–31 answers us promptly.

John 1:29–31
29The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and he said: “See, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30This is the one about whom I said: ‘Behind me there comes a man who has advanced in front of me, for he existed before me.’ 31Even I did not know him, but the reason why I came baptizing in water was so that he might be made manifest to Israel."

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — Who Was Sold for 30 Pieces of Silver

Zechariah 11:12–13
12Then I said to them: “If it seems good to you, give me my wages; but if not, withhold them.” And they paid my wages, 30 pieces of silver. 13Then Jehovah said to me: “Throw it into the treasury—the magnificent value with which they valued me.” So I took the 30 pieces of silver and threw it into the treasury at the house of Jehovah.

The fulfillment of this prophecy is found in the following passages.

Matthew 26:14–16
14Then one of the Twelve, the one called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15and said: “What will you give me to betray him to you?” They stipulated to him 30 silver pieces. 16So from then on, he kept looking for a good opportunity to betray him.

Matthew 27:1–7
1When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people consulted together against Jesus to put him to death. 2After binding him, they led him off and handed him over to Pilate, the governor. 3Then Judas, his betrayer, seeing that Jesus had been condemned, felt remorse and brought the 30 pieces of silver back to the chief priests and elders, 4saying: “I sinned when I betrayed innocent blood.” They said: “What is that to us? You must see to it!” 5So he threw the silver pieces into the temple and departed. Then he went off and hanged himself. 6But the chief priests took the silver pieces and said: “It is not lawful to put them into the sacred treasury, because they are the price of blood.” 7After consulting together, they used the money to buy the potter’s field as a burial place for strangers.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the one and only true God.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the Only God Who Forgives the Sins of Men

Jeremiah 31:34
“And they will no longer teach each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know Jehovah!’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them,” declares Jehovah. “For I will forgive their error, and I will no longer remember their sin."

Micah 7:18
Who is a God like you,Pardoning error and passing over the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? He will not hold onto his anger forever,For he delights in loyal love.

Isaiah 43:25
I, I am the One who is blotting out your transgressions for my own sake, And I will not remember your sins.

Through these passages we understand that Jehovah is the only God who forgives men their sins. Let us add the passage of Mark 2:5–11.

Mark 2:5–11
5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic: “Child, your sins are forgiven.” 6Now some of the scribes were there, sitting and reasoning in their hearts: 7“Why is this man talking this way? He is blaspheming. Who can forgive sins except one, God?8But immediately Jesus discerned by his spirit that they were reasoning that way among themselves, so he said to them: “Why are you reasoning these things in your hearts? 9Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and pick up your stretcher and walk’? 10But in order for you to know that the Son of man has authority to forgive sins on earth—” he said to the paralytic: 11“I say to you, Get up, pick up your stretcher, and go to your home.”

Luke 7:48–49
48Then he said to her: “Your sins are forgiven.49Those reclining at the table with him started to say among themselves: “Who is this man who even forgives sins?"

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the only God who forgives men their sins.

Jesus Christ Is Jehovah — the Only Savior of Men

Isaiah 43:11
I — I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.

Jehovah is the only savior; there is no other savior. Let us read further passages.

2 Peter 1:1
Simon Peter, a slave and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have acquired a faith as precious as ours through the righteousness of our God and the Savior Jesus Christ:

Titus 2:13
while we wait for the happy hope and glorious manifestation of the great God and of our Savior, Jesus Christ,

Is the Bible contradictory? The answer is no! Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the one and only Savior of men.

CONCLUSION: Jesus Christ is Jehovah — the only Savior of men.

General Conclusion

Luke 24:25–27 (KJV)
25Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Luke 24:44–45 (KJV)
44And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

John 5:46–47
46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Dear friends — Jehovah's Witnesses — we bless the Lord Jesus Christ on your behalf; we render Him glory for you, because He has finally opened your eyes to His person. Indeed, as you have seen in this message, the ENTIRE Bible — the Law of Moses, the Prophets, the Psalms, the Gospels, and the Epistles — speaks of only one single Being: Jesus Christ. God has written His Word in such a way that it does not contradict itself, but is ONE in every respect. You therefore understand that Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life — there is no other god apart from Him. He is your one and only God, your one and only Saviour; He — God of the universe — made Himself flesh to save you from sin and therefore from eternal punishment. It is He alone who shed His blood on the cross to redeem all of humanity; it is He alone whom you should worship and pray to, He alone whom you should serve. To refuse to accept Him as God is to put your own soul in peril — it is to condemn yourself.

John 8:24 (NWT)
That is why I said to you: You will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am the one, you will die in your sins.”

Why, then, does the Jehovah's Witnesses organization not tell you the Truth about the divinity of Jesus Christ? Why has the organization hidden from you this vital truth about the Person of your God? Why does the organization force itself to tell you lies about the divinity of Christ — even as the New World Translation it has published itself demonstrates it? Understand that the only people who can deny the divinity of Jesus Christ are the sons of the devil, the servants of Satan — and this with the sole purpose of turning you away from your Creator, Jesus Christ. To put it briefly, dear friends: understand that the Jehovah's Witnesses organization founded by Russell does not in any way serve the one and only true God, the Creator of all things. The Jehovah's Witnesses organization is in the service of the devil — it is a sect. It is therefore time for you to realize this, and to leave this evil organization as quickly as possible.

Perhaps you will still say to me, in your blindness or hardness of heart, that Jesus Christ proclaimed Himself the Son of God, and therefore He is not God. Let me tell you that even the revelation of the Father was brought to us by Jesus Christ; without Jesus Christ, no one would know today who the Father is. Understand also that the Father is in the Son and the Son in the Father, that the Father and the Son are ONE, and that whoever has seen the Son has seen the Father. Let us open our New World Translation one final time.

Matthew 11:27
All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one fully knows the Son except the Father; neither does anyone fully know the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.

John 10:30
I and the Father are one.

John 14:8–9
8Philip said to him: “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us". 9Jesus said to him: “Even after I have been with you men for such a long time, Philip, have you not come to know me? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father also. How is it you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

May the Lord bless you!
