Message to our Friends the Jehovah's Witnesses No. 3
Content
Introduction
Dear friends, may the peace of the Lord be with you! We bless Jesus Christ our Lord and God on your behalf; we bless Him for His love toward you and toward us — a love He never ceases to manifest — and for His infinite grace and mercy. Dear friends, this third message we are addressing to you is most certainly the last. We believe that through the two previous messages we have sent you, the Lord has opened your eyes to the true nature of the Jehovah's Witnesses organization. We believe that through those first two messages, you are no longer Jehovah's Witnesses and that you have separated yourselves completely from everything connected to this organization. We believe it. If this is not yet the case, we believe once again that through this final call from the Lord, you will at last come out — and that the Lord Himself will open your eyes to see and know the Truth.
The Truth is God; the Truth is His Word. To alter the Word of God is to corrupt God Himself — to falsify the very nature of God — which can never be done, for the Truth precedes human existence and will endure throughout all the ages. In our previous messages, you realized that the Truth — the Word of God — cannot be falsified by any person or any organization. The struggle against the Truth is therefore a battle lost from the outset. The Jehovah's Witnesses organization has hidden from you the truth that Jesus Christ is God; to this end, it has arranged to alter and falsify certain divine texts by producing its own Bible: the New World Translation. Yet since Truth remains Truth, this very Bible — the New World Translation that the organization has placed in your hands — explained and demonstrated in our first message that Jesus Christ is the one and only God and therefore the true God.
If one returns to the lie that Jesus Christ is not God — as the Jehovah's Witnesses organization teaches — this amounts to saying that Jesus Christ cannot under any circumstances be worshipped by anyone, for worship belongs to the true God alone, according as it is written: "It is God alone you must worship, and it is to Him alone you must render sacred service." This further amounts to saying that all those who worship Jesus Christ — whether consciously or unconsciously — are all idolaters, and that God will punish all such people. However, by examining the Bible — the New World Translation edited and printed by the very organization that denies the divinity of Jesus Christ — one realizes that Jesus Christ is worshipped by all creatures: those in heaven, those on earth, those under the earth, and those in the sea. Without further delay, let us open the New World Translation to discover this.
The Worship of Jesus Christ as Clearly Explained by the New World Translation
Dear friends, to approach this section well, it is important to establish some foundations on worship — in particular, to understand who is worthy of worship. Let us therefore begin by examining the passage of Matthew 4:8–10. We remind you once again, as in the previous messages, that we will use only the New World Translation (2013 revised edition) — the Bible edited and printed by the Jehovah's Witnesses organization itself.
Matthew 4:8–10
8 Again the Devil took him along to an unusually high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him: “All these things I will give you if you fall down and do an act of worship to me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”
What does the Bible teach us here? God, through His Word, teaches us clearly in this passage from Matthew 4 that worship belongs to Him alone — that He alone is worthy of worship. In this sense, choosing deliberately or otherwise to worship another god (a creature) rather than the one and only true God (the Creator) is to commit a sin: idolatry. We therefore understand from this first foundation that we have laid: worship belongs to God alone. Let us examine another passage.
Exodus 34:14
You must not bow down to another god, for Jehovah is known for requiring exclusive devotion. Yes, he is a God who requires exclusive devotion.
Through this passage, we learn that bowing down before another god is a sin — and that God will not tolerate anyone taking His glory. We therefore realize that God is very serious and severe on the matter of worship. This is evident in other passages of the Bible.
Exodus 20:5
You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me
Deuteronomy 8:19
If you should ever forget Jehovah your God and you walk after other gods and serve them and bow down to them, I do bear witness against you today that you will surely perish.
Dear friends, through these passages, you understand very well that God is extremely jealous of what belongs to Him — that is, worship. You understand very well that He will not share the worship that belongs to Him with anyone. If He punishes as we have just read, understand that He insists that all creatures worship Him alone. And this, both men and angels have understood. The angels — with all the glory they possess — know full well that one may prostrate oneself only before God; they know full well that one worships only God. Satan, that fallen angel who desired to be worshipped like God, was cast from heaven — as you well know.
Revelation 22:8–9
8Well I, John, was the one hearing and seeing these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing me these things. 9 But he tells me: “Be careful! Do not do that! I am only a fellow slave of you and of your brothers the prophets and of those observing the words of this scroll. Worship God.”
Acts 10:25–26
25 As Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and did obeisance to him. 26 But Peter lifted him up, saying: “Rise; I too am just a man.”
By reading these two passages, you understand, dear friends, that whoever falls at the feet of another to worship him — or prostrates himself before him — commits a grave sin. You understand once more through these passages that whoever worships anyone other than God commits a grave sin; and that God will severely punish all those — men and angels alike — who worship a creature or who allow themselves to be worshipped.
Since we now understand that one may fall or prostrate oneself only before God, and that it is He alone who must be worshipped, let us now examine through the Bible — the New World Translation — whether any beings (men or angels) fall before Jesus Christ to worship Him. If, upon examining the New World Translation, we find that no creature falls before Jesus Christ to worship Him — you have every reason to remain in this organization and continue serving your God. If, on the other hand, upon examining the New World Translation we find that creatures — men, angels, and others — fall before Jesus Christ and worship Him, then you no longer have any reason to remain in this sect of Jehovah's Witnesses. And if you choose to remain in it after receiving this illumination, know that this message you are reading right now will condemn you on the day of the final judgment — and your final destination will be eternal punishment.
Without further delay, let us plunge into the Scriptures. Note in passing that we will not traverse the entire Bible to show that Jesus Christ is God and that every creature must worship Him; one single book of the Bible will suffice to demonstrate this. That book is the book of Revelation.
Revelation 4:8
As for the four living creatures, each one of them had six wings; they were full of eyes all around and underneath. And continuously, day and night, they say: “Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming.”
What do we learn from this passage? The New World Translation tells us that there are four living creatures — around the Throne of God (Revelation 4:6) — who ceaselessly worship the one Almighty God, saying: "Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming." In brief, these creatures worship this Almighty God who is coming. Now, according to the Bible, there is only one God who is coming; there is no other god who is coming apart from the true God. And who can this Almighty God who is coming be? Let the New World Translation answer us in all truth.
Revelation 22:20
“He that bears witness of these things says, ‘Yes; I am coming quickly.’” “Amen! Come, Lord Jesus.”
Since the only one who is coming according to the Bible is Jesus Christ — and since night and day the four living creatures worship only this Almighty God who is coming — we understand without difficulty that these creatures worship none other than Jesus Christ, and that He is this Almighty God who is coming. This passage further confirms the first message we addressed to you, in which we demonstrated that Jesus Christ is Jehovah. Furthermore, this passage from Revelation 4:8 that we have just read is merely a drop of revelation from all that this book of Revelation can reveal to us about the divine nature of Jesus Christ — and therefore the worship that belongs to Him. Let us examine further passages.
Revelation 7:11–12
11 All the angels were standing around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell facedown before the throne and worshipped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Let the praise and the glory and the wisdom and the thanksgiving and the honor and the power and the strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”
What does the Bible tell us here? It tells us that all the angels of heaven — together with the Elders and the four living creatures — prostrate themselves and worship God. And what do they say in their worship? They say that "the praise and the glory and the wisdom and the thanksgiving and the honor and the power and the strength" belong to God forever. That being so, no other is worthy to receive praise, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and strength — except God. Let us now turn to Revelation 5:11–12.
Revelation 5:11–12
11 And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice: “The Lamb that was slaughtered is worthy to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”
The first question I put to you is: who is the Lamb? Let the New World Translation answer us once again.
John 1:29
The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and he said: “See, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
The Lamb is Jesus. A second question: who is worthy to receive power, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, riches, and blessing — if not God (Revelation 7:11–12)? If therefore Jesus Christ is not God, why do all the angels, the living creatures, and the Elders worship Him by saying that He is worthy to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing? At the very beginning, in Revelation 22:8–9, we saw that the angels are fully conscious of the fact that they must worship only God. If therefore Jesus Christ — the Lamb — is not God, why then do these angels, elders, and living creatures worship Him? If worshipping Jesus Christ — the Lamb — were idolatry or sin, this would mean that all these angels, elders, and living creatures who worship Jesus Christ in Revelation 5:11–12 are idolaters and great sinners. God would therefore have to banish them from heaven — along with Jesus Christ Himself — as He had banished satan. Let us first read Isaiah 42:8 before continuing.
Isaiah 42:8
I am Jehovah. That is my name; I give my glory to no one else, Nor my praise to graven images.
If Jesus Christ is not the one God — Jehovah — why does Jehovah allow all the angels, the living creatures, and the elders to give His glory to another (Jesus Christ) when they say: "The Lamb is worthy to receive power, wisdom, strength, honor, glory..."? Why does Jehovah not intervene when Jesus takes His glory and His worship through the angels — since it is Jehovah alone who deserves the glory according to the Bible? Why does Jehovah not banish Jesus Christ from heaven as He had banished Satan who sought to take His glory? Let us read yet another passage.
Acts 12:21–23
21 On a set day, Herod clothed himself with royal raiment and sat down on the judgment seat and began giving them a public address. 22 Then the people who were assembled began shouting: “A god’s voice, and not a man’s!” 23 Instantly the angel of Jehovah struck him, because he did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten up with worms and died.
Why does Jehovah not strike Jesus Christ who takes His glory when all the angels worship Him? He did it with Herod — why does He not do it again? If this does not happen, it is because God is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is God — and it is He alone who is worshipped. Let us examine Revelation 4:9–11.
Revelation 4:9–11
9Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the One seated on the throne, the One who lives forever and ever, 10 the 24 elders fall down before the One seated on the throne and worship the One who lives forever and ever, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 “You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created.”
Who can live forever except God? Who can receive worship except God? Let us read another passage.
Revelation 1:17–18
17 When I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet. And he laid his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, 18 and the living one, and I became dead, but look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of the Grave.
The question here is: who died for us? Who holds the keys of death? The answer is Jesus Christ. And what does He say of Himself? He says that He is living forever and ever. And who is the One that the living creatures and the elders worship in Revelation 4:9–10? The answer is, of course, the One who lives forever and ever. If therefore these elders worship the One who lives forever, and according to Revelation 1:17–18 Jesus Christ also lives forever and ever, this means that it is Jesus Christ they are worshipping. Jesus Christ is therefore God, and He is the One worthy of worship. Let us take another passage.
Revelation 5:8–9
8 When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb, and each one had a harp and golden bowls that were full of incense. (The incense means the prayers of the holy ones.) 9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought people for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
At the beginning of this message, we examined the passage of Matthew 4:8–10, as well as the passages of Exodus 34:14, Deuteronomy 8:19, Revelation 22:8–9, and Acts 10:25–26. Through those passages, we understood that whoever prostrates himself — falls down on his knees — or worships anyone other than God commits a grave sin. If therefore Jesus Christ is not God, why did these creatures and these elders fall down on their knees before the Lamb (Jesus Christ)? Why do they sing a new song for Him if He is not the one and only God? Let us read Isaiah 42:10.
Isaiah 42:10
Sing to Jehovah a new song, His praise from the ends of the earth, You who go down to the sea and all that fills it,You islands and their inhabitants.
Jehovah commanded that a new song be sung for Him. If Jesus Christ — the Lamb — is not God or Jehovah, why do these beings sing for Him a new song saying "You are worthy..."? Jesus Christ is God, and it is He who deserves worship. If therefore you continue to believe that Jesus Christ is not God, tell Jehovah to banish from heaven the living creatures and the elders who are sinning against Him by singing a new song to the Lamb; tell Jehovah to banish from heaven the living creatures and the elders who sin against Him by worshipping the Lamb. Ask Jehovah to banish them from heaven — those who commit this great sin by worshipping Jesus Christ.
Once again: Jesus Christ is God, He is God, and He is the One worthy of the worship of every creature that can exist in the universe. Let us examine one final passage to conclude.
Revelation 5:13–14
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and underneath the earth and on the sea, and all the things in them, saying: “To the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever.” 14 The four living creatures were saying: “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshipped.
At this point, we can say: if Jesus Christ is not God, this means firstly that all creatures are idolaters — since they worship the Lamb who is supposedly not God. Secondly, you make God a liar; you make Him corrupt — a God who does not stand by His Word, the One who said He would not share His glory with another (and yet here it is happening). Understand that Jesus Christ is God, that He is in the Father and the Father in Him, that He and the Father are ONE, and that whoever has seen the Father has also seen the Son.
John 10:30
I and the Father are one.
John 14:9
Jesus said to him: “Even after I have been with you men for such a long time, Philip, have you not come to know me? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father also. How is it you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
You who say that Jesus Christ is not God: we invite you to write another book of Revelation in which you will delete all the passages that clearly demonstrate it — as your leaders have done in falsifying the passages of 1 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1:6, Matthew 28:8–9, Luke 24:51–52, John 9:35–38, John 1:1, and many other passages — texts that unambiguously confirm the divinity of Jesus Christ. We therefore encourage you to write another book of Revelation in which the living creatures, the elders, and the angels will not worship Jesus Christ.
Your leaders believed that by corrupting and falsifying the texts we have cited above, they would erase the Truth. They forget that the Truth is God; and that suppressing the Truth is to suppress God — which is impossible. What Proverbs 30:5–6 declares has come upon your leaders.
Proverbs 30:5–6
5Every saying of God is refined. He is a shield to those taking refuge in him. 6 Add nothing to his words, Or he will reprove you,And you will be proved a liar.
Your leaders are all LIARS. And here is what awaits them in the days to come.
Romans 1:18–19
18 For God’s wrath is being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who are suppressing the truth in an unrighteous way, 19 because what may be known about God is clearly evident among them, for God made it clear to them.
To you, therefore, dear friends: be wise and choose the Truth.
Conclusion
There is only one word left for us to say: come out of the Jehovah's Witnesses sect. Come out from among them and God will receive you with open arms. We also warn you against those false brethren who will come to you and attempt to persuade you of the opposite of everything you have read. They will seek to dissuade you by presenting certain falsified texts — cited above — that deny the divinity of Jesus Christ. Do not listen to them!
2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
May the Lord bless you!
